Primary Animal Health Care Facility – PAHC24/16667

Our Primary Animal Health Facility is proudly registered with the South African Veterinary Council, offering professional care and primary animal health services for dogs, cats and livestock. While we do not have a veterinarian or perform surgeries, all services are handled by a skilled and experienced Animal Health Technician with over 16 years of expertise in both welfare and private veterinary practice.

We specialize in routine services:

     

      • Dog and cat vaccinations including vaccination booklets

      • Health checks and Nutritional advise

      • Ear cleaning, sanitary trims, nail trims and anal gland expressions

      • Primary health treatments such as at home Biliary and Parvo treatment for clients who can not afford hospitalization.

      • Stool sample examinations

      • Blood smears

      • Skin Scrapings

    • Dispensing of stock remedies
    As of May 2026 Hoof and Feather will only offer at home appointments.  

    Livestock Services

    We provide a comprehensive range of on-farm livestock services at affordable rates, ensuring the health of your animals and the success of your farming business.

       

        • Vaccination

        • Parasite Control (Deworming, tick control)

        • Hoof trimming (Sheep, goats and horses)

        • Fecal Egg Counts to identify worm type and burden in cattle, sheep and goat herds

        • Blood smears to test for Babesios

        • Treatment with stock remedies
